2026 Art Poster

Each year for over four decades, the Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission's annual art poster has showcased a different, talented local artist. This tradition lives on in 2026. Poster donations help support the Commission's mission and programs: fostering public participation, increasing access, and forging alliances in support of local arts, culture, and history.

About the Artwork:

Wendy Crone - Artist Statement

Wendy Crone is an engineer and artist who has lived in Dane County for over twenty-five years. She draws inspiration for her artwork from everyday encounters. A walk in the woods, a weekend drive to the apple orchard, or an outing on the lake allows us to stumble upon beautiful scenes. A spot you pass by every day can also surprise you with a glimpse of wonder. Wendy hopes that even the smallest wild place will make you look around the corner to see what beauty can be found.
